Hardware realizations of neural networks can pave the way towards a new generation processors due to biological role model being superior in terms speed and energy-efficiency compared today's processors. This be achieved by deriving novel design principles for circuits obtainable when replicating investigating real depth. has, example, been done utilizing Hindmarsh-Rose model, offering rich repertoire neuronal firing patterns. Our aim is synthesize theoretical, equivalent electrical circuit well interpretable biology, since this supports derivation from biology serve as basis systematic simplification. We do starting linearized because allows approach then first derive linear afterwards nonlinear circuit. The resulting has structure similar conductance-based models, where deployed negative impedance converter seen deeper modeling ion pump activity. Simulation results proposed show functionality circuits.
